Where to plug in an AC '97 cord and an HD Audio cord on a mobo

So I have an MSI Z97 Gaming 3 ATX motherboard and a Cooler Master HAF 912 case. I was wondering about the AC '97 Cord and the HD Audio cord that the case has. I see a single audio slot on the motherboard but the AC '97 cord is connected to the HD Audio cord, I don't see where it goes though. I read the manual, but it isn't all that great. The case's manual isn't very specific either. These are the only cords I have left from the Case's wiring. Thanks in advance for the help.

You connect only the HD Audio to the motherboard.
Some older boards support only AC'97, therefore the option.
