Where to put my WiFi

I bought all my parts at once so I could my build done in one go, but I found that my Graphics Card blocks at least one of the PCIEx1 slots I was going to use.

So now I have PCIEx4 and the second PCIEx1 slot. If I use the x1 slot it's right up against my Graphics Cards's cooling fan and I dn't want to overheat anything. I f I use x4 then it will run slower than it should.

Also, got this nagging feel as to whether I got the CPU enclosure under the shoulder screw before closing up. If I hadn't the enclosure wouldn't have closed right? I can't check now because the build is up and running and obviously the CPU cooling fan is in the way

I try to avoid PCI-E based wireless cards in favor of external USB WiFi dongles. They seem to have better range and reception being outside the case....

Putting the WiFi card there is your only choice, it will likely raise the temps on your GPU 4--5 C, but with that card (looks like an ASUS Direct CU) you'll be fine
