Where to put ram in my asus m4a79t delux mobo

so i got the 2x2g ddr3 gskill ram, where do i put it in this mobo?

do i put both in the orange slot? or both in the black slot? or 1 in the orange and 1 in the black?

If you look real close at the board, the slots should be labeled. Dual channel should be slot 1 and 3. Though you should check your manual as noted above.

the slots are a1,a2, and b1,b2

right now my rams ar ein slots a1,a2 is that right?

What color goes with which slot? Your first one should go in a1, the second one should go in the slot with the matching color, be it a2 or b1

try the orange slots if it's anything like my P6T, then if it doesn't boot, try them in the black slots.

Even if they aren't running in dual channel, the PC will still boot. To make sure they are running in dual, download cpuz and check the memory tab.
