Where would one go to design their own PC case?

Hello there, as you see I’m Justina wondering how one would go about designing ones own pc case. As you see all these different mini pc companies popping up I was wondering what’s there to do to get into the business? Where would you approach to design your own case for the brand, and how would you get your own motherboard brand started? But most importantly how much.

Designing a case?
You need the ATX specs, a CAD application, the expertise for that CAD application, and an idea.
Or instead of a CAD application, pencil and paper.

Starting your own motherboard "brand"?
You need buttloads of money.
