which 1080 or 1080 ti should I get?

I am getting 8600K and z370 motherboard tomorrow.
Which 1080 model do you recommend?
I checked some reviews and it seems most models got coil whining problem.
I am not sure if different 1080 models would perform differently and give different framerates or tempratures.
Obviously, I would want lower temperature, less power consumption, no coil whining. Is there such an outstanding 1080 model?

Also, do you think 1080Ti is overkill for ultrawide 1080p resolution.
Some people say 1080 is overkill but there are so many games with optimization issues that they run so bad even in 1080GTX and 1080p such as evil within 2.
It makes me worried and think if 1080ti is the way to go. If so, what model?

The 1080 Ti is way more capable than ultrawide 1080p, you can ramp it up to 4k. It's definitely overkill for ultrawide 1080p, and you can save money by just getting the 1080 instead.

Ultrawide 1080p go 1080. As for model MSI GamingX and Asus Strix are the best. But no one guarantees no coil whine.
