Which 19in, NEC or viewsonic

I'm trying to decide on a black cabinet monitor for my new system, and I'm looking at three models right now: NEC FE991SB-BK, Viewsonic P95F+ and g90fb. I'll be playing a lot of games, movies and web surfing with some occasional school work in between. I've heard some good and bad things about both companies so I was just wondering if there would be a better brand or model, thanks.

If your willing to spend a little more go for a sony or Mitsubishi. I haven't had any bad experiences with NEC or Viewsonic but I know that Sony and Mitsubishi are rated the best all around. I have a Sony G500 and it has served me faithfully for many years. One of my friends has a Mitsubishi 19" and it is noticably nicer than other 19" monitors.

The FE991SB is a very nice monitor. Nice price, and very good color/text reproduction.

I had this same type of question floating out there a few months back. I decided on the NEC after looking at a few sonys and I for sure liked the NEC best.

After I made the choice, I'm still glad I did.
