Question Which 32" 1440 Monitor for PC Gaming?

So I've decided to build my first PC in 20 years. I've been on laptops and game consoles in between my old PC building days. I've decided I want to get a 2K/1440 32" monitor. Which one should I get? I'd really like to keep the price under $400 but if there is a need to move up I could swing it. So far I have my eye on the MSI Optix MAG321CQR and the LG 32GK650F-B

The LG seems to have better reviews but I did see a review by Tech Deals and some other YouTubers who say the MSI is the best (See video below).

Or should I be looking at other models or even 27" instead?

Look into a 34" ultrawide. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1443762-REG/msi_optixmag341cq_34_curved_21_9_lcd.html they might be a little more expensive but totally worth it for gaming and productivity work.
