Keep in mind that prolimatech tech support emphatically states that the HSF fin thickness and spacing was designed for 800 rpm - 1200 rpm fans.

I have 1200 rpm fans at 70% speed and temps typically hit 60C under prime 95 w/ small FFT's

Reminds me of the days when I used to install those high rpm, high cfm, high dBA Panasonic Panaflo fans. Had four of them in a mid tower case. When I powered up it sounded like an F-16 on take off. Made me want to flip toggle switches to arm a couple of air to air missles. :lol:
