The Prime Titanium is the best thing on the market and I'm a fan of Seasonic in general. They never put out a bad unit. But there's a lot of competition up there at the high end. Honestly you can't go wrong with either of those. I haven't really looked at prices recently. Having lots of site loading errors ( being worked on ) recently so it's hard to look when Tom's might be inaccessible for hours at a time.

They're both excellent. The Prime is cheaper and has a 12 year warranty vs 10 years for the Corsair. I'd go with it for those reasons.

Not really. A 500w power supply at 50% load ( 250w used, peak efficiency ) looks like this:

Power drawn from the wall:
80 Plus - 312.5 W
Bronze - 304.9 W
Silver - 294.1 W
Gold - 277.8 W
Platinum - 271.7 W

So you're saving 6 watts. Unless you're running hundreds or even thousands of computers that's never going to pay for itself. I'd rather have the extra 2 year warranty.

Yeah I hate mail in rebates too. I've got the Hybrid fan on my older 660w Seasonic Platinum. Honestly I can't hear it either way.

Is there any better option in your opinion under $120 750-850 watt?

The long warranties don't mean much to me.
