Which 7950? Gigabyte or Asus TOP

Hey guys.
Its been weeks of research and deciding, Its down to deciding between two graphics cards, will get it tomorrow...
Which 7950 is better?


Gigabyte HD 7950 Windforce III OC

Price doesnt matter between, but 7950 is only i can afford and best for money...

Ive been reading about ASUS and the HD 7950 NON TOP edition of theres, needed a version 2 of it?
is it because of the cooling?
Anyone have this and can give me feedback,
With the Gigabyte one, its one of the cheap HD 7950, anything cheap with it?

If I remember right, the Gigabyte one is voltage locked. Pretty sure the Asus one isn't. Having a voltage lock will severely hamper your ability to overclock. Just something to think about.

yea Voltage locked to about 1.3v

but enough for 1.2Ghz Overclock, which I will be happy with...

well I just found out that the ASUS one is older version of the new one and as I heard around, is plagued with problems...
as NewEgg customers suggest and no wonder discontinued in NewEgg...
so no brainer, im going with the Gigabyte one...

I'm thinking about getting the same card but I'm concerned about the voltage-lock problem. Do you have any updates now that you own the card? If you overclocked it, how high of an overclock did you manage to get? What voltage is it locked to. Thanks a ton! I've been looking for a long time to find someone who had purchased this card recently.
