Well, the problem was not the fan. The fan was blowing through a circle in the back of the case where 100 or so small holes had been drilled (punched?) out of the back in a circular pattern. Just for kicks, I took some time and cut out the circular area totally. Now the fan exhausts like a vacuum cleaner! I can’t believe that the case maker was unaware of the fact that these holes would not allow a fan to vent properly. It is a little noisy though.
