Which 980 should I get?

What's the best overclocker? And is there a chance of one of these going on sale on cyber monday?

Personally I would choose the MSI 4G or the EVGA ACX cards. So far those seem to be coming out on top but really they are all great performers. Personally I prefer the NVTTM cooler just for its sleek looks and compact but amazing build quality.

Although, I would personally wait until the end of January to buy a 980. The 390X is slated to come out by then and I'm sure AMD is going to be extremely competitive when pricing their cards. Definitely going to expect at least a $50-$100 price drop for team green.

I recommend the Gigabyte G1 Gaming, amazing card for overclock, really good cooling, but is a bit big, so you must see if it fits in the case. We can't know for sure about the cyber monday, but it's not so expensive, so the discount would not be huge IMO.

if you have the money I would get the 980 classified, best out of the box overclock and the chips are binned the best out of all of them.
