Which 980 Ti and worth buying?

Feb 8, 2010
Well I sold a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW. With the money I made and some saved up for a new gpu. Which GPU should i buy? Looking at 980 Ti cause I researched and read (some here) that they are pretty much on par such as performance as the 1070 besides the extra 2GB of VRAM.

980 ti's I'm looking at are: All Around the same price, also I have a good amount so price is no problem just looking for best.

Asus Strix GeForce GTX 980 Ti

Here are my PC specifications: (Can't afford a 1070 right now)

EVGA 280mm CLC; CPU Cooler
Intel i7 7700k OC @ 5.0 GHZ; CPU
EVGA Z170 Classified K; MOBO
EVGA SuperSC 2x8GB 16GB; Memory/RAM
EVGA Supernova 1000w G3; PSU
SSD OS; Samsung 850 Evo 250GB
SSD Games; Samsung 850 Pro 256GB
HDD Video Editing & REC.; WD Black 1TB

SC - to be avoided at all costs

EVGA Classified and MSI Lightning are top of the line but not so much to make it worth the retail price bump

After that I like the Gigabyte G1 and MSI Gaming X ... and just behind them, the Strix. here's Techpowerups over clocking results
