Which 980 Ti?

I am building a 1080p gaming PC. The reason I am using a 980 Ti for 1080p is to take full advantage of 144hz and to be sure that my rig will be able to smash games at 1080p even in the future. I am wondering, however, which 980 Ti to get. I would preferable go with the Gigabyte G1 Gaming edition but my case is too small. Here is the alert I am receiving. "The Phanteks ECLIPSE P400S ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 395mm long, but video cards over 280mm may block drive bays. Since the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Video Card is 295mm long, some drive bays may not be usable." Will having some drive bays be unusable be that big of a deal? If it is, which card would you recommend as an alternative and why? Thanks!

The drive cages are optional and not included. It's the same as other Phanteks cases. You can still install those cages in 2 spots without blocking the video card. Go ahead and get as large a video card as desired. Also note there is no Optical drive bay so no CD-ROM installation.

Can I also recommend the Fractal Design Define S. Same price as this Phantek and similar design. Wide open without cages inside so it's amazing for water cooling. It's a better case.
if you look at the case owner guild the case has 4 hard drive bays that can be used with extra hard drive bays and trays. if you put more then your standard ssd/hard drives and have to use the extra bays you lose the extra room for long gpu. the case itself has extra spots for 3.5 and 2.5 drives that wont block long gpu. also on the gpu in a few weeks time the newer pascal are dropping.

Would I be able to fit my WD Blue 1TB HDD and Samsung 850 EVO 500gb SSD with the Gigabyte card as well? If so, how many drives am I able to fit in all with the Gigabyte GPU?
