Trying to decide between these 980ti's: Gigabyte G1 or EVGA's superclocked ACX 2.0. I've had EVGA cards in the past and never had a problem with them. My current 970 FTW ACX 2.0 seems pretty quiet and the temps are good (haven't seen it go above 68-70(no OC)). If I can expect similar quality and better performance from the out-of-the-box superclocked 980ti by EVGA seems like a solid choice, but... I've been hearing such great things about the giga cards and their superb cooling and quality that I'm seriously considering giving them a try. Any advice on picking the better of these two cards would be great.
I recently stepped up to 1440p gaming and while I love my 970, it just can't push the constant 60fps at that higher resolution so I'm hoping to recapture that frame rate with this card.
My specs:
i7 4790 @ 4.0GHZ
Giga Z97-UD5H Black
16GB DDR3 2133
240GB SSD/1 TB HHD
850W Thermaltake
