Which 990 motherboard is better?

theres some bundle deals with amd processors and some motherboards. i was deciding to get a 6300 but with some of these deals i could go with an octa core. so far i narrowed it down to the

ASRock 990FX Killer AM3+ ATX AMD Motherboard

and the

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3


which is better? and why
i think the asrock would make a good black and blue theme. but quality>color

i plan on using 1 gpu, will probably overclock in the future.

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 supports FX 9000 series. It should mean it could handle 220W TDP. Although it has 8+2 phases ASRock 990FX Killer doesn't support FX-9590 but has really nice features like a better audio codec with Purity Sound. I own a Z97 Killer motherboard and I like it but it is a different platform.
The ASRock has more USB 3.0 ports.

i once looked up if there was a difference in 8 and 7.1 sound, and there isnt.

Yes. if you don't have a 8.0 channel speaker you wont find difference.
but you asked for better.if its a competition better has to come first.

see this newegg says she have a 3 years warranty http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514 and micro center talk about 1 year so i would go for the one who offer full warranty even nicx us have it with 3 years warranty from maker .
