Which AC power cable to use even though probably not important

I was checking my PSU box to see if I had an extra pcie gpu cable and I saw that there was still AC cable in the box so I guess I hadn’t been using the one that came with the PSU. The one I had been using is a lot thicker and says 15a 125v 1525w on the part I plug into the PC. I have a seasonic gx 1000w. The one in the box says just says 10a 125v and is thinner. They have a bunch of lettering and stuff on the cables and they are both different. I’m thinking to use one I had. I knew this probably doesn’t matter but this computer is going to have a 4090 so I’m not taking any chances. Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Seasonic have a Focus and Prime versions of the GX unit, which one are you referring to? Also, is it possible to pass on an image of both cables that tether to the PSU from the wall side by side? The input current for both variants of the GX is 13A. You're actually in good hands with the 15A one considering that the cable that came with the unit is 10A that being said that 10A cable shouldn't be with that unit, likely bundled due to easier sourcing from their supplier.

Eh, how old is the unit and what is it powering now and what was it powering prior to today?

It’s a focus gx 1000w
I only built this computer back in March right now it’s powering an asus tuf 3090 with a 12700k. The 3090 is going to someone else. I’m not sure the ac cable in the box came with the psu sometimes I put extra ac cables in my psu box which I won’t do anymore. Also to note I’m using this UPS

I’m sure the 15a is correct to use
