Which AMD Radeon HD 7950 is best?

I am looking to buy a Radeon HD 7950 for my new build. I'm just not sure what manufacturer makes the best version for the best price. What version is least likely to fail and has the best performance, while maintaining a good price? On a side note, what kind of performance can I expect out of a 7950 anyways?
