Which antivirus do you use?

I am debating on what antivirus program I want to install on my win 7 build. I usually use Kaspersky Internet security for XP, but I was thinking about using a free one as I have already used up my 3 license limit. Should I get AVG, Avast, Kaspersky and/or just antivirus or an internet security suite?

Kaspersky uses super low resourses,and covers everything...check out mr izos review of kis it's impressive!

One thing that bugs me about Kaspersky is it scans too many things as in when trying to install a program or trying to run the program afterward. If I install a game and run it, it will pop up after the game has started about a key logging program and ask me if I want to allow, make trusted deny and all that stuff. Sometimes I have to add to trusted a few times to get the program running.

I have wow, cod 4 and conan installed.i have probably 23 programs installed plus office 2007,and hardly ever receive a popup from kis . kis 2010 is outstanding.it is super low on resources and has never bothered me while gaming.the free antivirus programs such as avast and avg are to heavy on resources!

Have you used Kaspersky on XP? If so, how does it compare to the windows 7 experience?

I have used.
It is one normal antivirus.
But I had viruses with kaspersky so i changed it.

My ISP provides McAfee, but I switched to AVG Free because McAfee was a noticeable resource hog. If they fix it, I'll probably switch back, but I'm waiting for reviews.

I use Avast and haven't had any problems with it.

I hate Norton because you could never uninstall the program completely. If you want to move to another AV, you literally have to format your hard drive and reinstall everything. I had to do that with my laptop and I even used the tool they give you to completely remove norton, but after running it, there were norton files and reg keys every where.

I always go through and delete all the Norton / Symantec keys after uninstalling NAV... but only if Norton messed up sufficiently to necessitate it. Saves from having to reload.

ive heard that norton cleaned up their act, but i still get nightmares about 30 seconds boot time befor norton and 2mins + after, eset nod 32 is my fav now, my first love, bit defender is still what i wish to use, but vsserv.exe eats too much ram, so i use eset, and my fav thing is thaat they have a 64bit version too

kaspersky runs great on xp,vista,and windows 7 retail release!

F-Secure Internet Security works fine for me. Install it and forget it, even on Windows 7.

I could never go back to Norton or Micafee

They'v had my time since Cyrix 300 (damn i remember my cus getting a 333 and I was so jealous!) uptill Xp SP2. I still have 5 or 10 licenses with my ISP, have had them for 1.5 year now, got no need for em.
