Question Which APU/CPU to get?

Howdy! First time here, second PC build and three processors I can't choose on. I have been leaning toward the Xeon mainly because it can crunch my Adobe and CAD stuff a bit faster but am still unsure. (They are in the poll.)

Welcome to the forums my friend!

If your main usage is gaming and you're not getting a GPU= Ryzen 3400G
If your main usage is workstation based = Intel 9400

Hey thanks for the reply! The Ryzen 3400g is eliminated but am still unsure about the i5-9400 vs the Xeon as they are practically the same with the same price tag.

The Xeon has a better Desktop bench vs the Core which is better for gaming and workstation stuff which I am not doing. Any thoughts?

PS: I know that userbench is a little skewed in terms of functionality but its the only site that compares them both

The more cores and threads on the i5 will be more beneficial for multitasking.

And if you are doing any kind of gaming, the i5 is better suited.
