Which are the best games for a low end pc

Solution
With only 2Gb of ram, the best games for you are anything that was current for Windows 98SE to Windows XP as those platforms were most commonly x86 (32bit) so relegated to a maximum of 4GB of ram, with 1-2Gb being most common.

Starwars Kotor, Kotor2, Neverwinter Nights/2, Command and Conquer, Mechwarrior mercs 2/4, Master of Orion, Civilization 1/2, The Elder Scrolls: Arena, Wing Commander 4 etc.
The Dead Space series, especially the second one, Just Cause 1 and 2, Prototype 1 and 2, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfare 1 and 2, the Batman series, especially Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Origins, Metro Last Light, and if you like racing games, there's one which is very realistic in terms of physics and very easy on the pc: Live For Speed(just 800MB in size).

EDIT: Before trying these games out I recommend you watch them on Youtube, try to look for gameplay of these games on your specs or at least as close to them as possible.

Mafia 1 and Vietcong come to mind as well for his system, great games from around 2002-2003.

Jedi Knight II, Starsiege, Tribes, Jedi Academy, C&C: Red Alert, X wing vrs Tie, Guildwars, oh the list goes on, even the original SimCity was great.

I'd not bother really with anything that's mainly designed for multi-players or PvP, as you'll find that either the servers are closed and moved to newer games, or ppl basically just moved on to bigger and better and newer.
