Which are the best levels for Downstream and Upstream Channels in a Router?

I'm currently facing a lot of issues with my Internet Service, my current Router is a Docsis 3.0, more specifically a Motorola SBG6580, usually all the leds on my Router are going all in green color and are flashing, and it loses connectivity all the time.

I have requested technical support several times to my ISP, in fact they have visited me around 50 times in about 2 years and they always tell me that everything is fine and that my Downstream and Upstream levels are fantastic, and other technicians had detected problems with the XMER and the CMTS.

A friend of mine has checked my Router Downstream and Upstream levels and he said that they were out of range, but he didn't tell me anything else.

I have logged into Router settings and I took a Screenshot which shows my Downstream and Upstream levels, here is the link to the Screenshot:

So basically my question is if you could take a look at the Screenshot and tell me which are the best levels of Power and SNR my Router should have under Downstream and Upstream Channels.

Thanks is advance,
Sincerely,
David Berger.

Have a nice day!

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

The numbers are within the acceptable limits currently. The SNR ratios are a little low but are still above the minimum recommended.

I would check these again when it is giving you a problem.

Generally the cause of most these type things are the wiring in your house. If you are not also getting cable TV over the same coax I would remove all the splitters in the path so your modem is the only device connected to the cable and there are no extra cables attached. If you have tv you need to have the cable modem attached to the very first splitter as it comes into the house and that splitter needs to be rated for using cable modem.

The logs in the device may show something also if it is getting random errors. Be sure that the modem is not just rebooting because of a power loss of some kind, it takes it a bit to resync

Thanks a lot for your reply and for your time, well in fact I have no problems with the TV service, but the Telephone which is separated in a Docsis 2.0 Modem, an Arris TM602G, plus the Internet in a Motorola SBG6580 Docsis 3.0 are having lots of issues, my phone calls are always dropping and I hear a lot of interference on the phone and the Internet is always failing and I'm having a lot of DNS Errors on the Browser as well.

About the Router's log you can check it here:

Basically my idea was that if I could push my ISP to leave those Downstream and Upstream levels right then probably this could fix a little bit my problems, but you mention that levels are acceptable, just SNR is a bit low, so I guess is something else.

Here is an Screenshot that shows the Downstream and Upstream levels when the Router's connection drops and all it's leds switch to green and are blinking or flashing constantly:

And yes the Router also tends to reboot all the time because of the power loss.

Once again thanks a lot for your reply and for your time, have an excellent day!

Sincerely,
David Berger.

Also I don't know if it's useful, but both the Docsis 2.0 Modem for the Telephone and the Docsis 3.0 Router for the Internet are connected to a 2 Way Splitter with -3,5 dB.

Here is a picture of it:

Thanks again for your reply and for your time.
