Which are the essential driver updates of the given list?

I am new here so I apologize if I have asked the question in the wrong thread or anything like that but today I just ran a scan and found that I had 11 driver updates!

I had heard someone saying about the drivers that "If it ain't broken don't fix it!" so I am hesitant to update all so can you please tell me the very essential driver updates of those given below as recently my PC has a very slow startup and I have been told that this is due to unupdated drivers,here is the list
Input Devices-
HID compliant mouse
USB input device

Sound Device-
High definition Audio Device

Storage controllers-
Standard AHCI 1.0 serial ATA controller

System Devices-
Standard enhanced pci to usb host controller
PCI standard host CPU bridge
PCI standard isa bridge
PCI standard PCI-to-PCI bridge
High definition Audio Controller

Other Devices-
SM Bus controller
PCI simple Communications Controller

These are the drivers that need updating so please help me out here
Also I use Slim Drivers for updating drivers,

If it used to boot fast with the drivers you had installed, then it started booted slow with the same drivers, it's not the drivers or it would have booted slow since day 1 and never booted fast.

Could be something you installed, could be the HD starting to die, could be a virus, but the same drivers don't work fine for a while then go slow.

It used to boot fast for a while then attacked by a virus but I removed it but now although it has no other known problems the startup is very slow

Then it sounds like the virus did some damage that wasn't repaired properly, or is still in there. I still wouldn't put it down to drivers.

Can you suggest me anything I can do to correct this? I use Win & Home Basic and have the original CD as well incase it needs repair or something
