hello guys, i have an i5 4590 3.3ghz default not modified on bios, on a cooler master 430 black elite case, no extra fans appart from the one that is infront of the case, so i was trying out some games and i realized how the temperature chart raises withing certain games (akibas trip undead&undressed for example) from 60 to 64 sometimes spikes 66°C , and that game doesnt even look that pretty but it sure is demanding on the cpu or so it seems, so i would like to know which are the safe , okay and bad tempts for a gaming sesion? talking about perhaps 3 to 5 hours per day gaming.
ive been playing the witcher 3 and the max that it has spiked on was 65 , although it usually stays around 60 to 62.
if you need any other information please ask away.

my specs:
asus b85m-e motherboard
gtx 750 ti oc 2gb asus (not oced by me so its default)
hitachi 500 gb HD
power supply evga 500 watts 80 white plus
i5 4590 3.3 ghz
8gb ram gskill
430 black elite cooler master case.

thanks for any helpful comments :)

Core temps should idle in the mid-high 30Cs. Load temps can and will vary. But should stay at or below 77C. There is no "good" temp. It will depend on how much usage, how many cores are active. I guess you could say a good temp is below rated max.

That's not OC'ing. That is the Turbo Mode. When not all cores are active, the freq.will increase to a max of 3.7GHz. it's all automatic as long as you leave Turbo Mode enabled.

Frequency 3300 MHz
Turbo frequency:
3500 MHz (4 cores)
3600 MHz (3 cores)
3700 MHz (1 or 2 cores)

oh i see i see, well i barely know of this so you know best :) , i have my bios configuration on auto, i had it on energy save mode but changed it back to auto, thats okay right ? theres always turbo as you mentioned or performance mode i think it is, not sure anymore lol.
