Hero, Code, Apex or Formula?

Cant really tell the difference other than some extra heat sinks...

Using a 8700K, 16 GB ram at 3200 ( 14 CAS ) and two R290X in CF until AMD releases better cards next year....

A Samsung 1T 970 EVO for OS and Samsung 1T 860 PRO for storage .....

They are all really high end motherboard that wont have much of an impact in gaming. The only reason I think you should go with one of these motherboards would be for overclocking. So if you are big into overclocking and want every MHz you can squeeze out, then it will make some sense.

Even then, I don't think you will get any higher clocks with the Formula over the Hero. I would go with whichever is cheaper, which generally would be the Hero. But don't think that is a low end motherboard. It is definitely high end.

If you want a good motherboard for your money, than I really like the Asrock Extreme4. It just may overclock just as well as other more expensive Asus boards. It is a solid midrange board that wont break the bank.
I use a ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING LGA 1151 ATX Intel Motherboard and it's really great for gaming and overclocking in my experience. I think the only thing it doesn't have is much USB 3.1 (?) support but whatever. I hear good things about the Hero line.
