Hello community, I'm about to buy all the stuff I need for my rig, I was recommended the (above) motherboard along with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and an Intel Core i7-8700K. I'm pretty sure all this will rock altogether, but the rog strix z-370 comes in many flavours, ending in G-H-F-I ... I was recommended to get the -G one, but what's the difference among the others? I'm buying a big case, so what matters to me is the performance (regarding the ATX's sizes)

Sorry if this was already posted...unfortunately I don't have much time to check the forums.

Thank you in advance!

Solution
Get the Strix E Gaming. Its the best bang for buck board. The board comes with lots of connectivity options, overclocking potential and features like superior audio codec with headphone amps, bluetooth and wifi.

A comprehensive comparison... https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/412570-412493-412571-413722-412958
Note: The missing figures indicates, that not all boards have been tested fully, but based on last gen. specs and feedbacks, the same can be assumed with certainty.

Thank you Hellfire13.

Here in my country, the only mb in stock is the -H ... it's been difficult to find stock. What would be the differences between the E and the H, regarding the connectivity you mention, performance and size?

Finally, is it a good mb for a high end gaming pc?

Size is standard ATX for both. As I said earlier, the board has not been fully tested yet... https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/412570-413722

But based on last gen specs, and there are not many changes made... https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/377817-379618

You loose the bluetooth and wifi, less power phases which can affect OC, RGB headers probably(not sure) and a couple of connectivity options. Rest are all standard features. It should be ok though. You can go for it.
