As the title says it. Please recommend me one. It should be cheap and long lasting. I am gonna build a pc for programming, Android Studio, Aftereffects, blender, Video editing, Photoshop etc.. I won't be doing gaming though. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to look at Ryzen 3600 benchmarks, before you buy though.

I will be sticking with intel core i5 9400f. Can you give a gigabyte motherboard. I personally like them. Can you give a link for gigabyte for 95 dollar or 6500 indian rupee.

I am not aware of any gigabyte B365 board. The problem with the i5 9400f, and Ryzen 3000, for that matter, need bios updates to work with older chipsets. You might want to consider an i5 8400, instead. Only 100mhz difference in clock speed, but you will have more board options. Otherwise, you are limited to Asus, Asrock, and MSI.

I heard about Gigabyte B360M Gaming HD motherboard. In Amazon India. And it doesn't need bios update. It's 9th generation compatible. Is it good? Is it good for my needs?

I used an MSI B360M board for my new build, as it's drop-in ready with the 9th gen processors. I have the i5 9400f. Great CPU + mobo combo for about $210 USD.

So are you saying you "did not" have to update the BIOS on the MSI MB for the I5-9400F chip? If so do you know if that is the case for the MSI B360s across the board or just that model?

It all depends which BIOS is installed by the manufacturer. Newer made stock will have a newer BIOS. Unless you can check what BIOS is installed then all B360 boards have a risk of needing a BIOS update first.

It looks as though the latest update was sometime in 2018 which leads me to believe if you get a newer motherboard (do Motherboards even have "date made" on them?) the i5 9400F should work with any B360 board. Am I way off on that? I though I saw it on one of the forums here.
