I have not seen a aux to bluetooth adapter that did not need to be powered, they all have a batter and are charged through USB. I own a couple of TaoTronics models, like this https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Simultaneously/dp/B01EHSX28M and they work very well with good audio quality. I own two of these ones, one is in my car, other I have for home use https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-B...nics+aptx&qid=1595558018&s=electronics&sr=1-5
