Hi
Which better for gaming

1# i5-4690k + MSI Z87-G45 Gaming + R9 280

Or

2#FX-8320 + Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 + R9 280x

I know AMD build has better GPU
But i can get a better gpu after 2 Month for Intel build

Just asking about the cpu
The intel is better than amd if they has the same gpu
But if i crossfire or sli is there bottleneck for both cpu ?

And about the new games
Does it need more than 4 cores ?

Abd which cpu will make the gpu run better ? If they both have like 780ti or 290x

Sorry for my english

Solution
Intel build is better. Crossfire/SLI will not be a bottleneck with CPU but it's best if the motherboard supports 8x/8x mode and that MSI board does so you should be OK. The individual thread performance of the i5 is so much better than the FX 8320 that it compensates for it having fewer cores (think of it as getting twice as much done in the same amount of time)

Either CPU would work fine with the 780Ti or R9 290X as they are both good CPU's

Solution
If you're overclocking I'd go for the Asus. It is 12 phase vs the 8 on the Gigabyte. I wouldn't buy an MSI board myself again after a series of DOA boards I got a couple of years ago. It's only my experience of course and the Gaming 7 has lots of good reviews.

Neither of those solutions will bottleneck the graphics cards, however on average you will see better gaming performance with the i5. In some situations the 8320 can keep up, but in general the i5 will give you much better performance.
