Which bios should I use for my unlocked HD 6950?

I recently purchased an unlocked HIS Radeon HD 6950 2GB. The Previous owner had unlocked the shaders by using a 6970 bios. I heard these may cause issues but I'm not sure. Should I reflash it to a modified 6950 bios instead or is it safe to keep the 6970 bios? The card is running at stock 6970 speeds (880/1375) w/ +20% in CCC. It is about 3 months old.

Why change something that works, the flashing is the dangerous bit since that is when things go wrong!
