Which board do you think I should choose between these two:

Gigabyte GAP31-DS3L or MSI P35Neo-F IP35

I was planning to buy the MSI board here at a local retailer but after checking their new products I notice that there was a Gigabyte board. I heard Gigabyte boards are excellent overclockers and it is cheaper that the MSI board.
Also I was wondering which chipset is better, the p35 or p31? I'm planning to pair it with a C2D and a decent Nvdia card, im going to overclock too...

Any advice would be appreciated!

I would suggest you go for this board GA-P35C-DS3R gigabtye

---------
system
pentium d 935/GA-P35C-DS3R /2gb crucial /8600gts

I have the GA-P35C-DS3R myself, it's great. However, the GA-P35-DS3R is a better deal for most people because you save $30 and only lose the (useless) DDR3 support.

P35 is better than P31. I don't even know anybody with P31.

I think P31 is basically a modified P35 paired with an ICH7 southbridge rather then ICH9. I would recommend the Gigabyte P35-DS3L or DS3R, if you don't need a lot of features the DS3L is good board.

P35 is best for over clocking, if you consider another MB check this comparison : http://comparemb.tripod.com/
