Hi,
I have decided to get a GTX 780 Ti, but I am quite a bit in doubt about which brand I should go for (with a non-reference air cooler).
I considered these:
Gigabyte 780 Ti OC Windforce (the cheapest option for me)
MSI 780 Ti Twin Frozr
Gainward 780 Ti Phantom
EVGA 780 Ti SC ACX
Asus DirectCU II 780 Ti
The problem is that there are not so many reviews out on the different cards which make it difficult to decide.
Which one do you think would be the most quiet?
It seems like the Gigabyte and MSI are very close to each other, with identical clock speeds and noise levels (based on Guru3D reviews - http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gigabyte_geforce_gtx_780_ti_windforce_3x_review,8.html and http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_geforce_gtx_780_ti_gaming_review,8.html), but the MSI seems to run a bit cooler.
The Gainward Phantom looks nice with the removable fans, but I don’t see them recommended so often for some reason.
I think the Asus version looks really cool with the backplate, but I could only find a single review of this particular card (http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/zardon/asus-gtx-780-ti-directcu-ii-oc-review/32/), where they criticize the noise levels a bit. It is also overclocked a bit less than the Gigabyte and MSI - I will probably not be doing any extra overclocking, at least not to begin with
What would you pick?
