can anyone tell me which Brand is better for graphic cards PALIT or MSI......which one of them is more reliable?

Solution

Firstly you have to tell, what's the model of the card you are planning to buy? If the card not the new released 5800 series then definitely MSI has better cards than Palit. There are several benchmarks in Tom's Hardware Guide, you can search for those and see the difference...

MSi supposedly increased their quality of service so I'd side with that.

Mostly i buy from EVGA, BFG, XFX when i buy for my self

EVGA has a 90 day trade up program

BFG has life time warranty and 100 day trade up program

XFX has double life time warranty good for re-selling, as it transfers over to the person who bought it from you. And the warranty covers dmg from oc as long as you didn't modify the voltage although most cards are sold pre oced to a good point

for others i've used products from MSI, PALIT, PNY, Galaxy, HIS. If you're gonna have to deal with customer service usually buying the card with the best service is a good rule of thumbs.

Depends on your country as to which is better. MSI here will send out a courier to my house to pick up a faulty item for free when I RMA, Palit won't. Palit are cheaper though, and the warranty period is usually the same. For reliability it won't matter if they are all reference boards, but custom PCBs could be different.

Also you can have quick and good response from MSI online technical support for their hardware related issues, even they respond other issues too if you have one of their products.

I use MSI mainboard (DKA790GX Platinum) and very happy with their technical support.

Palit tends to stick with reference design, or sometimes they release these SuperClocked editions which are still the reference design with just better memory and/or cooler. MSI on the other hand sometimes modifies the board design itself.

If you could afford the MSI, go for it, if not then Palit.

That is not true. Palit's boards are sometimes custom PCBs as well, often while being cheaper than some reference boards. The Palit GTX275 actually uses a GTX285 reference board with a redesigned power circuitry which cuts power consumption by 22W at load over the reference GTX275 board.

Hey guys thank you very much for all the suggestions, I really appreciate it........so finally i bought msi 9500gt 1gb Overclocked edition and quiet satisfied with it till now

I've heard of both Palit & MSI. I've had a few MSI video cards before, and never had a problem with any of them. MSI is usually cheaper than BFG, XFX, Asus, etc.

I've been running an MSI GTX 260 for a few months, and just installed a second MSI GTX 260 a couple days ago. :)
