Right, so, two cards.

XFX HD 4890 XXX Edition

Aaand the...

Sapphire Vapor-X 4890

I know XFX offers a OC warranty, which is, very useful, but the Sapphire has an overstock cooler, not much of a difference in temps tho.
Im asking which card can overclock better? (Higher)
Oh, and the 2GB Vapor-X 4890 is'nt very different than the 1GB is it? I dont think there'd be any increase in performance.

From what reviews i have seen the Vapour X cooler works well but as to which one would clock higher, well that all depends on how good the actual chip on the card is. Its quite possable to get a stock card and overclock it higher than a factory overclocked card. Its also possable to overclock a card and get worse performance due to stability issues at the higher speeds. The chips will be of a specific quality but wont all be the same so you could get one of each and find you can clock the Vapour X higher than the XFX card but if you went and got two more it could easily work out the other way around.

Mactronix

Having more than 1g video ram is good if you're into rendering graphics. General gaming and most display configurations wont utilize more than 1g so I would go with the 1g version if you looking to smash the latest video games...
