If there are a lot of games that you want and need a console to play, then go for it. I just prefer the PC because of the better graphics.
The second one looks better to me, and it can certainly do video editing too, although I would get a better power supply and a single gtx 780ti instead of the two 770s, because it will be quieter, cooler, and consume less power, plus sli can have bugs.

Edit: I'd also go for this ram instead because I know that corsair makes quality products, but if you don't want to spend the extra couple dollars, the one you picked is probably fine too.

thanks for the reply...i was just wondering that should i buy a console (for gaming) and a pc for video editing?

I would get just a PC, because any computer that can handle video editing will already be more powerful than a console for gaming. If you like the feel of the console controller over the mouse and keyboard, you can also pick up a $35 xbox 360 controller on amazon and play your PC games with that.

i was thinking about consoles because of the games...like Destiny, quantum break, uncharted, last of us, halo, gears of wars....and many more
