Which build is better?

I decided to build new pc but i have limited budget and right now I'm confuse i need an expert opinion of any of you 😀. for gaming of course.


My pick was option 1 but after reading some comments i get confuse because 2 cores will not enough for gaming in near future? so i was decided to make an option 2 but i need to sacrifice my gpu a little bit to upgrade mg cpu due to limited budget.

Im open to any suggestions

Interesting question

Option one :
- good GPU
- not so good CPU - will holding the GPU on some HEAVY games
Option two:
- good CPU
- not so good GPU - will hold the CPU back on some HEAVY games

To be polite here NONE
But i5 have some more room for better GPU as next step !
Just add GTX 760 instead of 650 and you`r fine ,,,,,

Right now assuming you're not going to make any upgrades in the near future, I'd prefer the i3 combo because most games are GPU bound and we still have many games that do not really use the third or fourth cores. The i3 has Hyperthreading anyway, so it won't suffer much of a disadvantage in multi-threaded applications.

660 Ti is a lot better than 650 Ti.

If I were you I would go with AMD if you're on a tight budget. You can get the 6-core 6300 and an MSI 270x HAWK edition for the same price and better performance/longevity:

It would be ideal if he went for an AMD combo, but then we don't know its available to him. Best to know his budget and where he buying from.

AMD 6300 is not available right now (out of stock) and most of FX series and i3 series are nearly same price just few bucks from here and from what i heard and search i3 performs faster than other FX series + low power consumption and low heat temp for i3 so that's why i was going for intel.
