Which build is the better?

Hi guys, I'm building a new pc and I wanted to know what would be the best of these two builds? The first (with 1070) is from a friend and it is almost hardly used, it will cost me about 120 dollars less than the one with 1060. Which will be better for the future?

You did not list PSU in 1070 build?
Overall, 8400 is way better CPU, but then gtx 1060 will not be able to fully use it. If you can swap GPU in not-so-far future to something better, I would go for 1060 build. But if you have no intention of doing any upgrades, then 1070 build.

My bad, the psu is a cx650m, what do you mean with not-so-far, and for now the 1070 build would perform better, right? And if I would upgrade in 2-3 years what build would be better?

2-3 years is long time. The best CPU that can be used with 1070 build is just 4 cores (7700K, and we already know there will be nothing better). Depending on how things go, it may not be enough then, so you would need to swap both mobo and CPU. 1060 build has better upgrade options (8700K), and depending on Intel's moves, can be even better. GPU will be obsolete in both builds in that time.
Overall, if you wish to keep it for 2-3 years without upgrade, 1070 build is better choice.

I like the 1060 build with the new platform.
