Both are the same build.
Not enough CPU cooler and you don't need 64GB of memory for a gaming build.

If I were going to spend on a full system right this moment, I would go AM5. This consideration is due to the promise of AM5 support much as it was with AM4. Getting in now puts you on the ground floor of what will hopefully be supported chipsets and a CPU that can be used to update the BIOS for them.

Thanks accidentally copy and pasted same.
Here is the updated version with cost.
A few glaring issues.
  1. First you want low profile RAM if you choose to go with air cooling so that they don't impede the cpu cooler which leaves out RGB modules.
  2. That CM 212 won't cut it .. not even close.
  3. The Samsung Pro Gen 4 SSD's have had reported issues in regards to longevity and after two updates there's still no cure to date.
  4. That Cougar case has horrible airflow and is more or less a hotbox.
Low profile SK Hynix modules. You can always add another set later on if you ever feel the need for 64GB of RAM.

Make sure that cpu cooler will clear that RAM.

the logitech headset you changed to is a much better option sound quality-wise. the razer sets are poor IMO. i have a lot of experience with the msi headsets also. you may want to have a look at msi also. msi have great warrenty and after-sales support.

and stick to wired headsets. im old-school. lol

Thanks I will look at MSI.
Yeah don't like wireless as I found they always die at inappropriate times.

How soon are you gonna get your rig? Z790 longevity is not guaranteed. AM5 will last longer and support future gen CPU compared to Z790

You can wait for 7950X3D reviews and decide for the 7800X3D. If you want to have RGB rams, get a 360mm aio.

7900XTX or 4080? which costs less? if u want ray tracing, Nvidia is the way to go.
