I mean they are basically the same just a different AIB from what I can see and a smaller power supply so either will do really it's like a 90 cents difference

Thanks! I might change the SSD to the one I had in the one I built because I save more and I only have used around 60GB on my laptop. I'll also probably change the case back to the Fractal Design Focus G because I won't be buying my parts until another month or so and by then the rebate for the Versa N24 won't be available.

Just one more question do I need thermal paste? How big of a difference would it make?

Usually the stock cooler comes with stock thermal paste, which gets the job done. If you want something better, then go with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut (the best paste and currently unavailable on pcpp) or...
