Which cables are positive or negative

i got a zalman z11 plus case and on the mother board there are positive and negative headers. the front panel connectors don't have any indication which way is positive or negative. some cables have a green and white wires while other connectors have red and white or red and black wires. which wires are positive or negative?

White is negative in this case.

With most computer wires black would be, but many cases tend to use white when not labeled. Another hint is that all the cables have a white.

Positive and negative only matter for the LEDS(the PC speaker if you have one would work either way, but would be "out of phase"). switches do not care. LEDs do not light up if connected backwards.

The color is always positive while white/black is always ground/negative.

This is universal in most electronics except in home electrical where green is almost always used as ground. But red/green is positive and white/black is negative in your case.
