i have an asus z170 pro gaming motherboard and a nzxt n450 case. there are 3 front panel fans and 1 rear fan. I have already used the cpu_fan header for my cpu fan. From what i've heard, I'm suppose to connect my case fans to cha_fan. But I don't know excatly how. what do the fan cables look (the one that i need to plug into CHA_FAN) like. Do I plug all the 4 fans into one cha_fan? where do i connect my power button cable? where do I connect my LEDS?

User manual will thoroughly describe everything, as mentioned. As a small primer, the cables for the fans are attached to the fans themselves, and each connector takes up a full fan header, although it may have only 3 or 4 pins. To connect more than one case fan, you need more headers or a splitter.

The power button and LED's depend on motherboard and case, and you will need to check the manual for those.

The user manuals (case and motherboard) will have pics and labels of where everything goes.
