Question Which cables do I use for my 144hz monitor?

So I have found out that I have a 144hz monitor that's connected with a hdmi cable so i am not getting the 144hz, so I am wondering which cables do i need to get or use to get my monitor to 144hz. My monitor has 3 open spots hdmi(which I am using right now), display port, and dvi d dual link. My Pc has dvi d dual link and hdmi open. I have bought https://www.amazon.com/CableCreatio...ocphy=9031290&hvtargid=pla-309635917856&psc=1 recently and i connected the display port into my monitor and the dvi d dual link into my pc, but when i do that my monitor doesn't work, it goes complete black, and I wait a while and it's still black. So which cables do i need to get 144hz.

What graphics card are you running?

Sounds like you have the standard HDMI cable and that supports up to 60hz.
