Which card would be best for this monitor?

The monitor I have chosen is the Asus PB278Q res of 2556 x 1440. What I need to know is this.

Would I be better with a GTX Titan with the option to add another in the future or would I be better off with 2 GTX 770 4GB/780? I will be looking to game at the highest settings available AAx8/16, tessellation, physX ect

Two GTX770 would perform better than a Titan.

I would get a 780 over a titan, if money is not an issue go with SLI 770s. If you want really strong performance at a good cost point I would say crossfirex two 7970s.

I am currently running a 2560x1440 display with a single 7970 and my performance is still really strong, I generally get the same fps as when I was using a 1920x1200 display because I am able to turn down/turn off AA with out any noticeable difference to graphics quality because the pixels are so small.

You may want to start with a single 7970 or 770 and see whether you want to get another after using it some.
