Hi guys,
I made the mistake a couple of years back of buying an Alienware Aurora R4 and have now decided to build a new system.
The only parts I intend reuse are the cpu (i7 3930k) and my gpu (Evga gtx 780 acx classified)
I'm undecided on a case,particularly because my gpu has the acx cooler, so the heat stays in the case, so it needs good airflow.
I won't be going sli,water cooling or anything like that, so is a Haf x v2 overkill ?
If so can you suggest a case that still will keep everything nice and cool without going that big if it's not needed.
The motherboard I was thinking of is this one http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-p9x79-intel-x79-s-2011-ddr3-sata-iii-6gb-s-sata-raid-pcie-30-(x16)-atx but I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Seasonic SS-860XP Platinum 860W Power Supply
Noctua D14 cooler
Crucial m500 480gb ssd
