ok all which case should i buy. my specs are below price is not a huge issue. im looking for something good quality that has usb type c on the front. and only 2 usb 3.0 on the front i was looking at the enthoo luxe 2 719 but it has 4 usb 3.0 my motherboard only has one spot for a usb 20 pin cable. plus i want something great for air cooling so lots of fan placement is good. i will not be water cooling at all.

That's a problem, because the best air coolers aren't really good enough for the 10900K - well, overclocking and Asus' Multi Core Enhancement are definitely off the table.
Stock operation is ok, but then the pesky power limits get in the way...

*Max air cooler height in parentheses
Corsair Crystal 680X(180mm): the I/O isn't exactly in the front... look up images and see what I mean.
NZXT H710(185mm)
Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE(170mm)
Asus Rog Strix Helios(190mm): it's got more than 2 usb 3.0 - don't know why that would be a negative though...
Cooler Master H500M(190mm)
Fractal Design Meshify S2(185mm)
Phanteks Eclipse P600S(190mm)

The Enthoo 719(195mm) is a chassis for liquid cooling setups - I bought one on impulse.
Filling it up...
The cooler you are going to use will be a significant factor to determine your case. Considering you are averse to water cooling, you will need one of those big air coolers to keep that processor cool.

So you have here the best air cooler possible and a case designed for max airflow.
3 x 120mm fans come pre installed and for the other 3 slots, you have top quality high CFM fans from Delta Electronics.

Filling it up with fans for air cooling only is pointless; I got way more noise out of it than I got better thermals. I hit the point of diminishing returns with 6 fans - if I did front intake only, and 7 fans - if I did side intake only.

the reason why more than 2 usb 3.0 on the front is a negative is because alot of motherboards still only come with one header for the 3.0. take the asus tuf z490 plus wifi it comes with one usb 3.0 and a usb type c header so if i was to buy the asus rog strix helios only 2 of the usb 3.0 would work and thats just plane annoying having unuseable usbs on the front

~Ohhh, I get it now! Thanks for clearing that up.
I need to change the list I posted earlier then:
Corsair Crystal 680X(180mm): the I/O isn't exactly in the front... look up images and see what I mean.

thanks for the help so far i like the Corsair 680X i dont mind the I/O on the top its only because i have a Iphone 11 Pro Max and the original cord is a usb type c (i know i can use a normal usb but i have a feeling alot of things are going to be going to usb c because of the advantages and considering i plan on keeping this PC for 6-7 years more if possible then i want to shall i dare say it "future proof" as much as possible. which is why i dont want to water cool due to alot of leaking reports after 3-5 years and having a system fail due to a leak would suck. latest updates make it seem that temps for the 10900k dont seem to be to bad so a nh-d15 should be plenty enough considering i wont be overclocking at this point. no need as i am only running a 1080p dual monitor setup

With its built-in addressable RGB lighting and USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, the Corsair Crystal Series 680X RGB is a very stylish premium chassis. We just wish the company had included a riser cable for vertically mounting the graphics card and made front filter removal easier, especially given its $250

i havnt decided whether i will be mounting vertically or not depends on how much gpu sag there is but i dont think there will be much as i only plan on buying a founders edition of the rtx3080 super equivalent when it comes out. i have a budget of about $1000 canadian for a gpu can go a couple hundred more but that is pushing it. i dont plan on overclocking so i dont need a aftermarket card and i will be loading all the fan slots with the biggest fans that will fit so i dont think cooling will be a issue. i hate rgb things so i will be getting rid of those fans and putting in noctua fans i know alot of people dont like the color but i do.
