First build, I'm deciding on the case.

While I'm posting this, I might as well add my future build for any and all advice.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($179.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($59.99 @ Microcenter)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ($63.75 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($249.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: CoolMax 700W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($29.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($14.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $658.68

Also, should I go with this AMD build or change to Intel. To be honest, I don't have a preference for either.

Solution
Well, intel is slightly better for gaming, but the AMD is good too. Also, neither of those cases have USB 3.0 support, so I would get the NZXT source because it is in your price range and has USB 3.0.

But even if there's not usb3 on the case, it can still be in the back from the motherboard, right?
And should I get the fx 8350 or intel i5 4xxx?

Yeah, you can but it's nice to have USB 3 on the front. I would go intel, mainly because It's better for gaming, AMD has 8 cores but those 8 cores are weaker cores than intel's four cores.

Sorry to sound annoying, but aren't some games "core-intensive" especially future games? And if I were to choose Intel, what is the Intel i5 4XXX equivalent of the FX 8350?
