I have narrowed my case decision down to 3 cases. The <A HREF="http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chassis/M_V_C_PC-V1000plus.htm" target="_new">Lian Li V1000A Plus</A>, <A HREF="http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=81800" target="_new">Antec P-180</A>, and the <A HREF="http://www.directron.com/201tblk.html" target="_new">SuperFlower</A>.

I will want to get these fans according to which case I get. <A HREF="http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-fm82.htm" target="_new">Silverstone FM82</A> and the <A HREF="http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-fm121.htm" target="_new">Silverstone FM121</A>

I am looking to keep my system as cool and quiet as possible. I am not overclocking yet, but will be soon so I that is why I need to get a better case than I currently have.

I have seen some reviews that say that the fans that come with the Lian Li are permanently attached, is this true? am I not able to change them out? I also have seen reviews that with the Antec P180 that some PSU's are having trouble reaching the connectors on the motherboards, will this be an issue with my rig? Thanks for any help that anyone can give me.

My Rig:
A64 3000
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
ATI X850XT
Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro TV Tuner
Seagate 160GB SATA HD
Lite-On SOHW-832S
Fortron Source Blue Storm AX500-A

I got a superflower today (but too bad its only got one transparent side... they had others with 3 transparent side but I liked black the best so... but anyways to make a long story short.... I love it, its all Al but doesnt cost quite as much as lian li, it probably doesnt have the patented cooling tunnels lian li has but it seems durable enough to last years (unlike the cheap ass scooby doo case I got for 650 NT, half the screws doesnt even fit!) The black case looks REAL nice with blacklights and reactive cables. Wait til I start doing water cooling... Lian li doesnt have transparent sides... well some model does but not all 3 sides (actually this is the only case on the market that I know of that has 3 sides clear)

The Lian Li is the top of my price I'm willing to spend. I bought a cheap budget case and now I'm regretting it, so I am willing to pay a good amount for a good case. I will be getting the FM121 fams for it also to make the airflow even better. The only reason I was thinking of the fm82 was if I got the superflower case.

So between the Superflower and the V1000A Plus, will I get better performance with the Lian Li or are they about the same? I am looking to get the best performance I can and between these two cases I'm not worried about the price. Which do you think will give me best airflow and cooling?

Weird all I've seen is bad reviews from people about the Lian-Li cases that have the motherboard inverted. Lack of intake is the main issue. Then again most of the people I've read were running Opteron systems. I also never thought I'd see the day when a caster was used as a fashion statement and not a practical means of mobility. And looking at <A HREF="http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chassis/M_V_C_PC-V1000plus.htm" target="_new">this</A> link, you'd think they were forecasting the weather inside the case. But hey it's expensive and shiny, it's gotta be good!
