I'm looking to invest in a mechanical keyboard. I had no idea that there were a plethora of cherry mx switches you could choose from!

Right now, i'm interested in the corsair vengeance k70. They come in cherry mx brown, red or blue. Initially, i was interested in blue. I don't mind the clicky sound of keyboards, and I heard they were great for typing, which I like. I don't feel that League of Legends requires any double or triple clicking.

Other people have told me that the cherry mx reds are ideal for gaming. I don't want a keyboard that is too sensitive however.

Could you guys help decide on which switch is the best for league of legends? Thanks!

I play League at a high level and just purchased a new keyboard.

If you think about it, the Red Cherry MX keys register the pressing of the key quicker than other MX types, since it's actuation force is lower than the other MX keys, meaning you'll be casting spells ever so slightly faster.

So if you really want the "best" keyboard for LoL, I imagine you'll want the Reds (I know OddOne and other High ELO players prefer Reds).

I purchased the Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red and I'm happy with them thus far, granted I haven't used them much.

As for the sound of the keyboard, I find it to be satisfying even without that beautiful "click."

Be aware however, it's pretty easy to press 2 keys by accident with Red Cherry keys, so if you have...
It's really up to you. Don't let other people tell you which switch is better for gaming and which switch isn't. It's all a personal preference. If you feel like the MX Blues would be a good choice for you because you like the clicky sound and the tactile bump won't bother you then go for it. I use Blues and I game on them perfectly fine.
