Question Which combo is better for gaming?

Corsair - H100i PRO 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus - PRIME Z390-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
G.Skill - Trident Z 16 GB C14 (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

OR

AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
Corsair - H100i PRO 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus - Prime X470-Pro ATX AM4 Motherboard
G.Skill - Flare X Series C14 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

... Is there anything I should change for either combo? I plan to overclock whichever CPU I get but not really sure what motherboards are suitable for that.

For gaming i would go for intel
As for mobo Asus ROG strix edition mobos might be better than prime imo

Could save some money with Z370 mobo.

If Z390, why not go with a 9700K?
