Which combo is better?

Quick question,i'm buying cheap used parts for my sister pc and can not decide which of this two combo is better?
1.Asus M2N-E SLI
-AMD Athlon 64X2 3800+
-4Gb DDR2 Ram 800Mhz

or

2.Gigabyte ga-945GCM-S2L
-Intel Pentium Dual Core E6500
-2Gb DDR2 ram 667mhz

She only uses pc for internet and for playing Sims 3
Both combos are same price

The E6500 is a bit better, but 4GB ram is also better.

The E6500 is newer and has a better clock speed and has overall better performance in every task. You can get more RAM soon and DDR2 is pretty cheap so you'll be better off with the 2nd combo.

That is also what i was thinking,because i'm not sure that 2gb of ram will be enough for normal use of google chrome on windows 7,i know that on my pc it sometimes eats over 3gb of ram that is why i don't think that 2gb will be enough,but i'm not sure is 3800+ really that bad?

If she isn't going to be gaming on it than there's not much need tbh. Sorry, but 20$ is not enough for a good GPU, but I still found what I could for you:

What do you think about old 8800gt? She won't play games a lot but she likes to play sims3 sometimes?

I had the 9500GT in the past and i could play upto Far Cry 3 in lowest settings until the card died due to its age. This card is more powerful than that. Sims 3 is relatively a less demanding game than Far cry 3. I think if you are getting it that cheap, you can go for it. But since its a used card, make sure you are sure about the product quality before you purchase it.
